ABOUT NEW WORLD MAN
The Story
The world we live in is fossil fuel dependant. Year on year we need more and more to feed our ever evolving society. Not only are these fossil fuels ultimately finite, but they are also causing unknown damage to the environment.

Already we are seeing changes to our environment that we do not fully understand. Rising temperatures, natural disasters and major world conflicts are all problems associated with our demand for energy. If we don't make the necessary changes now these problems may become irreversible.

Creating a sustainable energy future for humanity will consist of three parts:

Improved technologies for harnessing fossil and nuclear fuels, to ensure that their use creates much lower environmental and social impact
The development and deployment of renewable energy sources on a wider scale
Major improvements in the efficiency of energy conversion, distribution and use

Fossil fuels aren't the only problem with our current way of living however, as; over-fishing, deforestation, air pollution and a range of other issues plague us. Changes need to be made now, something world leaders are finally accepting. In 2015, the Paris Climate Agreement was the first step along this road, but even that was not enough.

This publication will attempt to shed light onto the ideas, research and projects that are going on around the world to aid this move towards a sustainable future.
